The news of the spread of the COVID-19 virus is abundant everywhere. But behind the news is a tragedy that is happening. Especially with the seafarers. Suddenly there is uncertainty. How are the families at home? What if I get sick myself - is there proper medical care for me somewhere on the wide ocean ...

Normally our ministers comfort, encourage and share the Bible with the seafarers  when a ship enters our harbours. But now everything is different. CSO's ministers can no longer have contact with the seafarers. The state of emergency in the country due to the virus has brought separation. This is also happening worldwide - not just in our ports.

Yet we will still extend our hands to those who have become unreachable. Let us all stretch our hands in prayer and pray for each other, the seafarers and the CSO.
